CHICAGO (WLS) -- Whitney Young Magnet High School's physical education building was vandalized - the third time in six weeks, according to the principal.
Chicago police said they were notified of the break-in at 5:15 a.m. Tuesday.
The gym was not damaged, but three coach offices were ransacked and vandalized. At least one school laptop was stolen, school officials said.
Principal Joyce Kenner said the Near West Side building has not security cameras, although she has asked in the past.
She believes the thieves entered the building during the day and hide underneath the bleachers until the evening when they burglarized the place.
