Concept cars have always been a fan favorite at the Chicago Auto Show, and while they may not be as futuristic as in years past, they are still super-sleek, and much closer to actual production, like the Dodge Charger Daytona SRT Concept Car.
"It's really a vision to what the future of what Dodge muscle cars will be," Kelley Enright, Dodge PR manager said. "And you'd be surprised at what's under the engine, Roz, it's an all-electric motor."

Similarly, the Dodge Hornet GLH started as a concept car. It's in production now and will be available in the spring, and the plug-in hybrid version in the summer.
Visitors looking to take a moment's rest and help people at the same time donated blood.
"It's great, you get to relax and get some juice and snacks," said donor Denis Azarov.
The Versiti Blood Centers have set up camp for the duration of the auto show, with the goal of collecting 1,400 badly needed units of blood. Organizers said the show's attendees have been really responsive.
"We do find the biggest reason people never give blood is because no one asks them," said Camille Piazza of Versiti Blood Centers. "We end up with a lot of donors."
The popular Friday Night Flights will happen from 6 to 9 p.m.
"We brought our Chicago authentic 1960s "l" car that we've turned into a bar," Goose Island Beer president Todd Ahsmann. "We'll be pouring beer off the "l" car for people, you can purchase beer, but if you're coming to Friday Night Flights, you can buy a ticket, it gets you 10 samples from 8 different breweries from around Chicago."
And for big, bold and unusual, there's the GMC Hummer EV.

"It has four-wheel steering and with the push of a button, it does a feature called crab-walk, so all the wheels turn in one direction, and the truck can move diagonally," Jenny Newman, Cars.com editor in chief, said.
