A damaged sports car could be seen just after midnight in the 500-block of inner DuSable Lake Shore Drive. It appeared to have plowed through a Cort Furniture Store, destroying items inside.

A 22-year-old woman was driving south on DuSable Lake Shore Drive when she lost control of the vehicle, CPD said.
She suffered minor injuries and was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in good condition, according to police.

Citations were issued, and no other injuries were reported.
