Some rain showers and storms have coalesced in the western suburbs as of 11 p.m., and will continue to move east out onto the lake, but chances of severe weather across the area are marginal. Scott said some parts of the Chicago area may not see any rain at all.

Showers and storms will end early Wednesday morning, with high temperatures in 70s through the weekend.
