The White Sox said Wednesday afternoon that their game against the Atlanta Braves has been postponed due to rain, snow and a forecast of inclement weather.
It will be made up at 3:10 p.m. June 27.
Fans with tickets can attend the makeup game.
Ahead of the storm, the National Weather Service issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Boone, DeKalb McHenry counties, which has since expired.
ABC7 AccuWeather Meteorologist Tracy Butler said 1 to 3 inches of snow may accumulate in areas under the advisory. The snow could result in low visibility at times.

Butler said a blustery mix of rain and snow is expected to linger into the afternoon and diminish through the evening.
Keith Overbey brushed wet snow off of his windshield Wednesday morning in Fox River Grove, as big flakes fell in McHenry County overnight and into the daylight hours. But very little is sticking.
"This is pretty calm," Overbey said. "Considering compared to the snow we had a few months ago where there were a good few inches. This is a lot more calm for sure."
With some snow sticking to the grass in some parts of the northwest suburbs, no one is pulling out any snowblowers, but it still made for a sloppy morning commute.
"Well, I just came back from Florida where it was nice and warm," motorist Ira Katz said. "I didn't even wear socks the whole time and in short pants and then I come home to the snow and I am waiting to have warm weather again in Chicago."
In Lake County, cars made their way down snowy streets and expressways as commuters bundled up to get to the Metra station.
The blast of winter weather in springtime is not sitting well with people like Marcus Galloway.
"This groundhog is a, I don't know he must've been drunk or just overslept that day or it's something going on because this year is ridiculous," Galloway said.
Many in the area are bracing for more mist, drizzle and wet snow with temperatures in the mid-30s.
"I'm over the weather," Overbey said. "Illinois always does this every year. It's worse for this spring than the past but yeah I'm getting sick of the snow and I just wanted to be sunny and warm again."
