OAKBROOK TERRACE, Ill. (WLS) -- Oakbrook Terrace cannot keep its red light cameras near the Oak Brook Mall, a DuPage County judge ruled on Monday.
The cameras are at the busy intersection of Route 83 and 22nd Street.

The Illinois Department of Transportation de-activated those cameras last year, claiming that Oakbrook Terrace violated a safety agreement. The city argued IDOT didn't have that authority, and a judge ordered the cameras be re-activated.
On Monday, the mayor of Oakbrook Terrace said the city will appeal the latest ruling.
