CHICAGO (WLS) -- Four vehicles, including a semi, were involved in a crash amid snowy and windy conditions in the Chicago area Wednesday.

ABC7 Accuweather Meteorologist Tracy Butler said snow developed around 7 a.m. and 10 a.m. Butler said there is likely only a half-an-inch of an inch of snow, but strong winds will make travel conditions messy.

The snow is expected to wrap up around 1 p.m., but it will remain windy. Temperatures will be falling through the day and be much colder in the afternoon.
