CHICAGO (WLS) -- The Chicago area is dealing with another day of hot weather Thursday.

An Extreme Heat Warning is in effect for Cook County until 7 p.m., with much of the rest of the area under a Heat Advisory

ABC7 Accuweather Meteorologist Tracy Butler said temperatures will be in the 90s with a heat index values over 100. Butler said a lake breeze could bring some relief Thursday afternoon.

Heat tissues on Wednesday led to malfunctions on the DuSable Lake Shore Drive Bbridge and the Torrence Avenue Bridge on the city's Far South Side.
