Chicago weather: Heat index over 100 forecast for Chicago area Tuesday

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Hot and muggy weather is in the forecast for the Chicago area Tuesday, with heat index values over 100.

A Heat Advisory is scheduled to go into effect for the Chicago area at noon through 9 p.m.



ABC7 Accuweather Meteorologist Tracy Butler said high humidity will be in the area throughout the day.

Butler said there is a chance for some storms near the Wisconsin border, but it will likely be dry for most of the area.
