Man, 24, charged in Portage Park shooting

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A 24-year-old Chicago man was charged in a Memorial Weekend shooting death in the Portage Park neighborhood on the Northwest Side, police said.

Florin Mulosmani faces a first-degree murder charge.

On May 28, Mulosmani allegedly shot 23-year-old Damien Cionzynski during a fight inside a business at about 5:15 a.m. in the 6300-block of West Montrose Avenue, officials said.

Cionzynski, of Harwood Heights, was shot in the head and pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said.
