Doors delayed, again, due to heavy rain
Lollapalooza organizers delayed opening the doors to the festival another hour due to heavy rain and clean up.
Organizers said doors will open at 3 p.m. Saturday and the Box Office opened at 1 p.m.


CHICAGO (WLS) -- Lollapalooza 2026 wrapped up on Sunday at Grant Park in Chicago.
The 2026 headliners included Charlie XCX, Tate McRae, Lorde, Olivia Dean, John Summit, Jennie, The Smashing Pumpkins and The XX.

A total of 10 people were arrested throughout all four days of Lollapalooza, Chicago officials said.
The Chicago Office of Emergency Management said on Monday that a total of 67 people were transported in an ambulance:
Thursday: Four people were arrested and 18 people were taken by ambulance.
Friday: Three people were arrested and 22 people were taken by ambulance.
Saturday: Three people were arrested and 16 were taken by ambulance.
Sunday: No arrests and 11 people were taken by ambulance.
OEMC said no citations or tickets were issued.

Due to the heavy rains, organizers delayed doors opening until 2 p.m. Saturday.
Doors usually open at 11 a.m. The notice was sent out at about 9:45 a.m.
Rain didn't entirely stop the fun on Friday, but festival grounds were left a muddy mess.
Most festivalgoers seemed to enjoy and romanticize dancing in the rain to their favorite artist.
As for Saturday, downpours continued through the morning.
ABC7 meteorologists say the steady rain will likely end between 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday.
Ponchos and closed-toe shoes are highly encouraged.
