CHICAGO (WLS) -- Family, friends and fellow officers honored a Chicago police officer killed while on duty 10 years ago Friday.
Michael Gordon died after his squad car was struck by a drunk driver. Thursday night's ceremony took place at Gold Star Families Memorial and Park.
Family members say Officer Gordon had two big dreams: becoming a soldier and then having a career in law enforcement. He achieved both.
Gordon was only 30 years old when he died.
