PALOS PARK, Ill. (WLS) -- Three women and a man from Indiana were charged in a home invasion near southwest suburban Palos Park where the homeowner shot and killed a fifth intruder, the Cook County Sheriff's Office said.

Officers responded to a home in the 11000-block of West 118th Street in unincorporated Palos Park around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday.

The homeowner, who has a valid FOID card and concealed carry license, fired his handgun and struck two men. He told the officers they had forced their way into his home and one of them had a knife.

Anthony Dalton, 19, of Cedar Lake, Ind., was shot in the chest and pronounced dead at the scene. Tyler Gulli, 23, of Midlothian, Ind., was taken to the hospital.

Officers found the three other suspects after they came out of a wooded area near the house.

Gulli, Sarah Risner, 20, of Crown Point, Ind., and sisters Brandy Marshall, 19, of Dyer, Ind., and Paige Marshall, 20, of Hammond, Ind., were each charged with First-degree murder and home invasion, the sheriff's office said.

The three women appeared in bond court Thursday and were ordered held on $2 million bond each, authorities said. They are scheduled to appear in court on August 3.

Gulli will head to court once he is released from the hospital, the sheriff's office said.
