Animal lovers to step off from Montrose Harbor for 25th PAWS Chicago 5K fundraiser next weekend
CHICAGO (WLS) -- Chicago's largest, and cutest, pet-friendly walk is rallying all animal lovers for an important cause. The 25th annual PAWS Chicago 5K Run/Walk For Their Lives steps off Saturday, Sept. 13 at Montrose Harbor.
The annual event raises critical funds and awareness for pets, still waiting to be adopted.

Whether you plan to run, walk, or simply enjoy the comradery, you will be surrounded by your fellow animal lovers, who are helping make a difference in the lives of our four-legged companions.
To register for this year's event, visit pawschicago.org/5k. The fee is $45 for adults and $20 for children 12 and under.
All participants receive:
- Personal fundraising page to raise funds and earn prizes
- Event wristband granting access to activities and giveaways
- Event T-shirt (please note there is no mail option this year)
Online Registration closes at 11:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 10. Day-of registration is $60 for adults and $20 for children.
