Body appears to be pulled from Lake Michigan near Oak Street Beach downtown Chicago

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A body appeared to be pulled from Lake Michigan Friday afternoon near a downtown Chicago beach.

Chopper 7 was over the scene around 4:15 p.m. near Oak Street Beach.

Multiple first responders could be seen near the shoreline.

The Chicago Police Department Marine Unit could also be seen recovering what appeared to be a body from the water.

No further information about the apparent body was immediately available.
