Cardinal George attends event with Vatican official key to choosing his successor

NEW YORK (WLS) -- Cardinal George and the Vatican official who is a point person in choosing his replacement were at the same event Friday night in New York City.

Cardinal George and papal nuncio Archbishop Carlo Maria Vigano attended the American Cardinals dinner hosted by Catholic University.

The next archbishop of Chicago is expected to be named later in the year.
