9 vehicles involved in I-355 crashes, spinouts amid reports of icy conditions

ADDISON, Ill. (WLS) -- Multiple vehicles were involved in crashes and spinouts on I-355 in the western suburbs Monday morning.

Illinois State Police said five vehicles were involved in one crash and four vehicles were involved in another crash nearby in the northbound lanes of I-355 between Army Trail Road and Lake Street.

No injuries were reported in the area, police said.

Icy conditions have been reported in the area. Chopper7 flew above the scene as salt trucks worked to salt the roadway.
