
COOK COUNTY, Ill. (WLS) -- A Chicago man has been charged for his role in a burglary ring that targeted Chicago-area retailers.
Jimmy C. Hall, 30, is facing more than 20 felony counts of burglary, organized retail crime, and theft.
Hall and several others are being prosecuted for allegedly stealing more than $1 million in merchandise and cash.
In all, more than 115 retailers were hit during the burglary spree.
Illinois Attorney Kwame General Raoul's office says the investigation was a collaborative effort with multiple suburban police departments and Chicago police.
