Chicago police investigating break-in at Manny's Deli

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Chicago police are investigating a break-in at Manny's Deli in the South Loop Tuesday morning.

The break-in occurred at about 3 a.m. in the 1000-block of South Jefferson Street.

Police said two suspects got out a white sedan and approached the restaurant when one of them broke the front glass window and entered, but did not succeed in taking anything.

The suspects then fled southbound on Jefferson Street in the white sedan.

Manny's posted that no one was injured and they will be open at their normal time.

No injuries were reported and Area Three detectives are investigating.
