King Louie, Chicago rapper, shot in head in Ashburn

CHICAGO (WLS) -- The Chicago rapper King Louie - who is credited with coining the phrase "Chiraq" - is hospitalized after being shot in the head.

He was shot Wednesday afternoon while sitting in a car in the Ashburn neighborhood on 83rd Street near Pulaski.

The rapper is at Advocate Christ Medical Center in stable condition.
