
CHICAGO (WLS) -- A well-known Chicago restaurant owner is in Washington to pushing for the Trump administration to slow deportation efforts.
Sam Sanchez owns Moe's Cantina and Old Crow in the River North and Wrigleyville neighborhoods.
Sanchez told ABC7 he's meeting with White House policy advisers on Wednesday.
He said that he is pushing for, what he calls "common sense immigration reform."
"Fighting for my people has never been easy," Sanchez said.
Sanchez is a vocal supporter of President Dondald Trump.
