Man killed in double shooting in Brighton Park ID'd, officials said

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A 30-year-old has been identified as the victim killed in a Southwest Side double shooting.

The shooting happened at about 9:17 p.m. in the 3000-block of W. 37th Place on Saturday, police said.

Two men were standing outside when three men got out of a car and started shooting.

A 30-year-old man was shot in the shoulder and lower back, police said. He was taken to an area hospital where he died.

He was identified as Edgar Arroyo, according to the medical examiner.

A 57-year-old was also shot in the left armpit, police said. He was taken to the hospital in serious condition.

Nobody is in custody.
