Man, woman hurt in Gresham shooting, Chicago police say

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Two people were shot on Wednesday night, Chicago police said.

The shooting at about 10:14 p.m. in the 8000-block of S. Wood Street, police said.

A man, 52, and a woman, 54, were outside when police said another man pulled out a gun and started shooting.

The 52-year-old man was shot in the right forearm. He was taken to an area hospital; he is expected to be OK.

The 54-year-old woman was taken to the hospital; she is expected to be OK.

Police said nobody is in custody.
