CTA Brown Line trains moving again after apparent derailment

CHICAGO (WLS) -- The CTA Brown Line service was disrupted during the Monday morning rush hour due to "track conditions."

At 7:45 a.m. the CTA announced that service was suspended between Kimball and Southport due to "track conditions."

Trains were operating only between Southport and Clark/Lake.

Chopper 7 was over the Kimball Brown Line station showing a train that appeared to be slightly derailed.

It is unknown if any passengers were on the train.

The CTA said just before 1:30 p.m. that Brown Line trains are moving again, with delays.
