Beloved Chicago music icon DJ Commando dies, family says

CHICAGO (WLS) -- The city of Chicago is mourning the loss of a beloved music icon.

DJ Commando, whose real name was Landon Wallace, died on Friday.

His family shared the news on social media.

Wallace was the official DJ for the Chicago Bulls and Northwestern football.

He was also a midday DJ for Power 92.3.

The medical examiner's office ruled Wallace's death a suicide.
