
CHICAGO (WLS) -- The creators of the smash-hit Drunk Shakespeare are unleashing their latest monster mash-up, "Drunk Dracula.
"There's no better way to kick off the Halloween season than with history's most famous vampire," said David Hudson, co-creator of Drunk Shakespeare. "The Drunk Shakespeare Society is excited to pay homage to the original drinker and continue bringing our brand of mayhem to the spooky season here in Chicago"
This boozy, bloodthirsty twist on Bram Stoker's classic tale will debut at The Lion Theater located in the heart of downtown Chicago at 182 North Wabash Avenue behind the Chicago Theatre.
After centuries of being cooped up in his creepy old castle, Transylvania's thirstiest bachelor is in need of fresh blood to maintain his youthful looks and chiseled physique. Now he's ready to take a giant bite out of Chicago. Get ready for Drunk Dracula this October, a hilarious new show that promises to be more fantastic than a Twilight marathon.
Craft cocktails and snacks are available for purchase during all performances. A Royal Experience for Two is available at each performance for $500. The Royal Experience includes VIP hand-carved throne seating while you indulge in the society's finest offerings: a bottle of champagne, two hand-crafted cocktails, delicious treats, and the ability to influence the performance as the Count and Countess.
The play runs from September 24 through November 2.
