Eyewitness to History: Devastating Illinois tornados

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Monday marks one year since a rare November tornado tore through Illinois, causing devastation in its wake.

There were multiple touchdowns, and the worst of it targeted Washington, Ill., where three people died. The National Weather Service clocked a peak wind of 190 miles per hour.

We look back at our coverage from that terrible day with Paul Meincke's report from November 17, 2013.
