Family files lawsuit after man stabbed to death on CTA Blue Line
CHICAGO (WLS) -- The family of a man killed on a CTA Blue Line train filed a lawsuit against the agency.

Dominique Pollion, 37, was sleeping on the train in January when he was stabbed multiple times. He died at the hospital from his injuries.
Demetrius Thurman was charged in the murder, and police say he recorded it all on his phone.

Not only was footage of the deadly stabbing found on the phone, but prosecutors say, "as well as pictures of other sleeping passengers on the train."
The victim's family says the CTA and the security firms it hires have a reckless disregard for the safety of passengers.
The lawsuit was filed against the CTA, Thurman, Monterrey Security Consultants, Inc. and Action K-9 Security, Inc.
The CTA has since implemented new safety measures.
