FBI investigating bank robbery at U.S. Bank on South Side

CHICAGO (WLS) -- The FBI is investigating a bank robbery on the city's South Side on Wednesday.

The robbery happened at the US Bank branch at 2131 South China Place in Chinatown Square Plaza.

There was a sign displayed on the door of the bank directing customers to the Bridgeport location.

The FBI confirmed a bank robbery happened, but did not release any further information.
