Hidden camera allegedly found in NW Side thrift store's bathroom: CPD

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Chicago police are investigating after a hidden camera was apparently found inside a business on the city's Northwest Side.

Police say a 33-year-old woman reported that she found the device inside a restroom at the Village Discount Outlet on Sunday around 3:30 p.m.

The store is located near North Milwaukee and West Armitage avenues in the city's Logan Square neighborhood.

Police said the alleged camera was removed. There is no word on how it got there.

Area Five detectives are investigating, and further information was not immediately available.
