Man killed in rollover Jeep crash in NW Indiana, Highland police say

HIGHLAND, Ind. (WLS) -- A man was killed in rollover crash on Wednesday morning, Highland police said.

The crash happened at about 4:39 a.m. at an empty lot in the 9227 Indianapolis Boulevard, police said.

Police said a 47-year-old man was driving and for an unknown reason entered the empty lot and crashed into a tree.

After crashing into the tree, police said the Jeep rolled over.

When police arrived they said the driver was found dead.

No other information regarding the crash was available.
