Motorcycle rider killed in crash with semi in Hoffman Estates identified by officials

HOFFMAN ESTATES, Ill. (WLS) -- Officials have identified the motorcycle rider killed in a crash with a semi in the north suburbs.

The crash happened on Tuesday at about 6:23 p.m. on eastbound I-90 near Beverly Road, Illinois State Police said.

ISP said the crash involved a motorcycle and a semi.

The motorcycle rider died in the crash, ISP said. He was identified as Mufeed B. Albo Yasen, 28 of Rockford, by the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.

ISP said all lanes were temporarily closed as police investigated the crash.

No other information was available.
