Person arrested after trying to access Kankakee airport, state police say

KANKAKEE, Ill. (WLS) -- Illinois State Police are investigating an incident at the Greater Kankakee Airport.

State police said an unauthorized person tried to get onto the property Friday afternoon at 813 A East 4000 S. Rd. in Kankakee.

The person is now in custody, ISP said.
