
CHICAGO (WLS) -- Two people were killed in a crash on the Kennedy Expressway Sunday morning, Illinois State Police said.
Police initially said three people were killed.
The crash occurred at about 1:46 a.m. in the inbound lanes near Randolph Street.
Police said a passenger car was stopped in the lanes of traffic when it was struck by a car going the same direction.
A total of five people were transported to hospital for injuries, with two later being pronounced dead.
