Homicide investigation underway at apartment complex, Lombard police say

LOMBARD, Ill. (WLS) -- Lombard police said a person was killed in an apartment complex on Sunday.

The homicide happened during the overnight hours in a residential building in the Yorktown area.

Police did not release details on the victim.

Investigators believe it may have been a domestic-related incident.

There is no ongoing threat to public safety.
