CHICAGO (WLS) -- Meals on Wheels Chicago is making it easy for adults to volunteer and meet the requirements to be eligible for SNAP benefits.
More people in Illinois who rely on federal food assistance now have to complete volunteer or work hours, to receive snap benefits.
Adults up to age 64 must work or volunteer 80 hours a month, to maintain their benefits.
