Original Picasso print returned to Wisconsin police 8 years after it was stolen

MILWAUKEE -- In Wisconsin, an original Picasso etching print has been returned eight years after it was stolen.

Milwaukee police say a community member brought the artwork to them on Aug. 5.

On Thursday, an authenticator confirmed it is the stolen piece.

The Picasso print, named "Trero 1949," was taken from an art gallery in 2018.

It is valued between $35,000 and $50,000 dollars.
