Park City officer charged in sexual assault while on duty, Illinois State Police say

PARK CITY, Ill. (WLS) -- A part time police officer is charged with sexually abusing a woman while on duty, Illinois State Police said.

Patrick Cacho, 29, of Kenosha, Wisconsin is due in court Thursday. He worked as an officer in Park City, Illinois.

The abuse allegedly took place during traffic stops back in January, police said. Cacho remains behind bars and has been fired from the police department.
