Driver killed in crash on I-57 in Harvey, Illinois State Police say

HARVEY, Ill. (WLS) -- Illinois State Police are investigating a deadly crash on I-57.

The crash happened at about 11:58 p.m. on I-57 northbound ramp to 147th Street in Harvey, according to ISP.

The driver of a black Chevrolet Tahoe crashed into the wall, ISP said.

ISP said the driver was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene.

Multiple ramps and lanes were shut down for the crash investigation.

All lanes reopened by 3:47 a.m.

No other information was available.
