
CHICAGO (WLS) -- For more than three decades, After School Matters has provided Chicago teens with safe programs to help them build skills and confidence for future success.
This year's spring session will be the organization's largest to date, serving more than 10,000 students.
Applications for programs in the arts; sports; science, technology, engineering and math; and more are now open.

After School Matters Chief of Strategy and Staff Melissa Mister joined ABC7 Chicago Thursday to talk about the opportunities available.
Programs run Feb. 23 to May 9. High schoolers ages 14 to 18 are eligible.
An interview is required, and applications close Feb. 13.
