Man dies after shooting in Skokie, police say

SKOKIE, Ill. (WLS) -- Police are investigating after a man was shot to death in Skokie on Tuesday.

The shooting happened before 11:07 p.m. in the 7400 block of McCormick Boulevard, Skokie police said.

Officers found a 31-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds.

He was taken to an area hospital where he died.

Police said the shooting was not a random attack.

No other information regarding the victim was available.
