Thieves smash SUV into NW Side liquor store , Chicago police say

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Thieves crashed an SUV into a liquor store on the Northwest Side Wednesday morning, Chicago police said.

The incident occurred at about 4:23 a.m. in the 4300-block of North Milwaukee Avenue.

Police said three suspects crashed the SUV into the business, made entry and stole merchandise.

The suspects then fled in a waiting Dodge Durango and fled northbound, police said.

No injuries were reported and no one is in custody, police said. Area Five detectives are investigating.
