Thieves smash into South Side business, steal from ATM, Chicago police say

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Thieves used two vehicles to smash into a South Side business and steal from an ATM Monday morning, Chicago police said.

The burglary took place at about 5:21 a.m. in the 8900-block of South Commercial Avenue.

After smashing into the business, police said a thief then went in and took cash from an ATM inside.

No one was injured and Area Two detectives are investigating.
