Walk MS aims to raise $800,000

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Thousands participated in Walk MS at Soldier Field Saturday.

The event was a fundraiser to help in the fight against multiple sclerosis, a neurological disease that attacks the brain and spinal cord.

Organizers said their goal was to raise over $800,000 from the walk.

ABC7 Chicago's Tracy Butler emceed the event.
