CHICAGO (WLS) -- This week, "Windy City Weekend" welcomed some familiar faces and special guests to the studio.
With Ryan Chiaverini enjoying the day off, Val Warner was joined by ABC7 Chicago's Tre Ward, who stepped in as guest co-host.

The fun continued during "Host Chat," featuring radio favorites Tone Kapone from WGCI and Kenzie Roman from the Q101 Morning Show. They discussed tipping fatigue and whether people without kids should give parental advice.
Operation Basketball is bigger than the game. Co-founder Tim Brennan and Lincoln Park High School senior Jaylen Dickerson discussed how this Chicago-based nonprofit organization is using sports to provide mentorship, education and life skills for young people in underserved communities.

They also shared details of their upcoming Undiscovered 48 Showcase. On Sunday, the organization aims to give unsigned seniors one final opportunity to compete in front of college recruits for a spot on the roster.
Following the showcase, on April 25, Operation Basketball is hosting a Community Job Fair to connect the youth and adults to real employment opportunities.
Spring has sprung. Beauty expert Brittney Levine stopped by to brighten things up. She shared her favorite spring beauty must-haves designed to refresh your routine and add a little glow, no matter what the forecast looks like.
Levine highlighted products that are "worth the hype" and ones you'll definitely want to get your hands on. She even had something special just for the audience.
