

LYNWOOD, Ill. (WLS) -- A woman was killed in a hit-and-run crash in the south suburbs Monday morning, Illinois State Police said.
The crash occurred at about 12:01 a.m. in the southbound lanes of Illinois Route 394 near Joe Orr Road in Lynwood.
Police said a female pedestrian was struck and taken to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

All lanes were shut down and reopened at about 3:55 a.m.
The Cook County Medical Examiner's Office identified the woman killed as Maryiah Ford, 20, of Sauk Village.
