CHICAGO (WLS) -- A Labor Day tradition returned on Chicago's Southeast Side Saturday.

Several labor unions marched in a Labor Day Parade starting at 104th Street and Ewing Avenue.

"The Friends of Labor Organization" led the parade while celebrating what they call the importance of fighting to protect workers' rights.

Organizers said it's the first Labor Day parade held in Chicago since the mid-90s
