Live updates: NFL playoff picture, scenarios, updated chances to clinch and more for Week 17

Several NFL playoff spots were still in play entering Week 17, but the field is finally set.

In the early window on Sunday, the Ravens, Browns and Titans all clinched playoff spots. The Cowboys were also eliminated by the Giants, and the Buccaneers locked themselves into the No. 5 spot in the NFC. The Bills will be the No. 2 seed in the AFC after their win, locking the Steelers into the third spot.


In the afternoon window, the Rams eliminated the Cardinals while clinching their own playoff spot, along with one for the Bears. The Packers secured the top seed in the NFC, too. And in the AFC, the Colts locked up a playoff berth. The Titans, however, won the AFC South on a last-second field goal. Then on Sunday night, Washington took home the NFC East title with a win, eliminating the Giants.

NFC





1. Green Bay Packers


The Packers have locked up both the NFC North and the No. 1 seed in the conference. They will receive both home-field advantage throughout the NFC playoffs and a wild-card round bye.

2. New Orleans Saints


The Saints have locked up the NFC South, and they will be the No. 2 seed in the NFC.

Wild-card matchup: vs. Bears (Sunday, 4:40 p.m. ET)



3. Seattle Seahawks


The Seahawks have locked up the NFC West, and they will be the No. 3 seed in the NFC.

Wild-card matchup: vs. Rams (Saturday, 4:40 p.m. ET)



4. Washington Football Team


Washington has locked up the NFC East, and it will be the No. 4 seed in the NFC.


Wild-card matchup: vs. Buccaneers (Saturday, 8:15 p.m. ET)



5. Tampa Bay Buccaneers


The Buccaneers have locked up a playoff berth, and they will be the No. 5 seed in the NFC.They finished second in the NFC South.

6. Los Angeles Rams


The Rams have locked up a playoff berth, and they will be the No. 6 seed in the NFC. They finished second in the NFC West.

The Bearshave locked up a playoff berth, and they will be the No. 7 seed in the NFC. They finished second in the NFC North.
