Multiple victims, including 2 officers, in Minneapolis shooting: Officials

There are multiple victims, including two police officers, in a shooting in downtown Minneapolis, city officials said Wednesday.

Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz said his public safety team is responding to the shooting, which occurred Wednesday afternoon in the area of 15 E. Grant St.

"State officials are on the ground to support local law enforcement and we will share more information as it becomes available," Walz said.

Residents were urged to avoid the area.
