A podcaster has been arrested for allegedly threatening to kill President Trump.

TikTok agreed to settle a landmark social media addiction lawsuit just before the trial kicked off, the plaintiff's attorneys confirmed. TikTok was one of three companies - along with Instagram and YouTube - facing claims that their platforms deliberately addict and harm children.
TikTok said Thursday it completed the deal to spin off its U.S. operations -- concluding a yearslong battle over access to the wildly popular video app for U.S. users.
The case centers on those six families whose children aged 11 to 17 allegedly took part in a choking challenge after seeing videos on the popular app. All died in recent years.
Social media companies have revoked access to about 4.7 million accounts identified as belonging to children in Australia since the country banned use of the platforms by those under 16, officials said.
